On April 8th, 2025, the entire team of Hotpoint Rwanda came together to honor the memory of the victims of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi by visiting the Kigali Genocide Memorial. This visit was part of the national Kwibuka31 commemoration, a time of remembrance, unity, and reflection for all Rwandans.
The Kigali Genocide Memorial stands as a powerful reminder of the tragic events that took place 31 years ago and serves as a symbol of Rwanda’s resilience, recovery, and hope for a peaceful future. As we walked through the memorial, learning about the lives lost and the stories of survival, we were deeply moved by the strength and courage of the Rwandan people.
This experience was not only a moment to pay our respects but also a reminder of our collective responsibility to stand against hate, promote peace, and support reconciliation. At Hotpoint Rwanda, we are committed to contributing to a united Rwanda, where compassion, dignity, and humanity prevail.
As we continue our work and service in Rwanda, Kwibuka31 reinforces our values of solidarity and community. We remember. We unite. We renew.
